The Rules of the Vagabond Army
- Be neutral, be respectful, be honest -
These were the first rules of the Vagabond Army. For some, it's clear what they mean. For others, they are difficult to understand.
No member of the Vagabond Army shall be bound to any rules. Every Vagabond, member of the Vagabond Army or not, is a free soul in the Land, and free souls they shall stay. No member owes the Vagabond Army anything - except for respect to other members. What we offer you is a home where you may take refuge, a place where you can meet other Vagabonds, a place where you can share your experience to get wiser. And we offer all our neutral assistance, in whatever way; For Vagabonds are our brothers. But to belong to this group of neutrals, this guild called Vagabond Army, every member is bound to our conditions.
Our conditions are, that you learn and understand the following five lessons. May they make you wiser and lead you on the path of our clanless Dragon, The Vagabond.
Lesson one, always keep your bag filled with useful ambrosia. This will help you to survive better and to recover your Life quicker.
Lesson two, always stand on your own two feet. We don't have time to hold your hand and to tell you how to defeat every foe. We are on our own mission. If you need special assistance, then seek for a Vagabond Master and ask him to become his Disciple, so that he may teach you properly.
Lesson three, although you are a Vagabond you are not alone. If you ever need help, do not be afraid to approach another member or myself. We are always here to help each other.
Lesson four, never kill another warrior just to prove who is more skilled. Defend yourself, but do not attack others without reason.
Lesson five, you're entitled to what is yours. Never steal from another warrior, not even his kill. Nonetheless you're free to steal a kill from others if they stole kills from you first, for several times.
As an additional note:
You are never, and we mean never, allowed to use hacks, cheats, bugs, etc for your advantage. Every member of ours reported to us with evidence like screenshots or videos, proving to do so, will be removed immediately, without notice, without mercy and without any chance given.
The Vagabond Army is a diplomatic guild. Masters and Leaders are mainly chosen by the Masters, while they may consult the Leaders and the Members. The five lessons can never be changed. However; Every decision may be made by the whole guild by voting. If the guild members do not agree with each other, a voting among the whole guild shall bring the decision. Every member is allowed to call up a voting, at any time. This shall always be like that.
If any of our member has proven to not have understood our five lessons and therefore to not be worthy to be part of the Vagabond Army (click on each lesson to understand how this is meant), the Masters may remove this member at any time, without any notice, if the case is more than clear. If it is uncertain how to decide, the whole guild will be consulted, the case presented and explained, and then voted over the fate of the member.
A message to other Bands and Leagues:
We do not care who you like and who you dislike. If any of your foes belongs to our friends, then this is not our problem and not a reason to take us as your foes as well. We are neutral, we may like anyone.
The Vagabond Army would like to ally with any neutral Band and/or League - As long as your Band and/or League is truly neutral and your troubles won't become our troubles.
We, the Vagabond Army, will assist our allies, as long as it's nothing against others and as long as it is within our power.

<Legend> What about the Clan Information forum? The last publisher used these sub-forums for informations about each clan. I got a backup from the old clan informations, but I don't know if you want to use that since it was written by Steven-Elliot Altman for the old publisher
<********> We cant use that old clan information. Hermit got all bitter we wouldn't pay truck-loads of money for him to work for us so he "took his ball and went home"
<Legend> LOL xD

This lesson is nothing more than a good advice. If you learn how to use a few ambrosia for your advantage, you will learn when you will need what - This applies to more than only ambrosia.
However; If you use ambrosia or not to ease your hard path is up to you, and you will not be removed from the Vagabond Army guild just for choosing to not learn from this lesson.

If you want to be a Vagabond, you will find out soon enough that you need to know what you're doing. We do assist vagabond brothers, members of the Vagabond Army or not, with advices and other kind of help. However, we are not here to lead you through every single step of your clanless path, like what mobs are easy to grind on. You are a Vagabond nevertheless, and you should live as such. Go out into the Land and find out what mobs are easier to kill with your garment and equipment.
As you should know, the vagabond path is hard, therefore everyone of us has his own missions and issues to care about; To bother others with questions already answered, answers which can be found out there already (like here in our forum), will only hold them back for nothing. If you need such kind of help, you should find a good Vagabond Master and become his Disciple to learn from him. Learn this, and you will soon find out what kind of respect and connection lays between each Vagabond.
However; You will not be removed from the Vagabond Army guild only because you bother others too much - As long as you don't overdo it. Every Vagabond should be able to lead you easily to the answers you seek and tell you honestly when you bother him too much. Respect other people's opinions and don't be angry or mad because you may bother them too much.
The first few Vagabonds were able to walk their path as well without to have any advice since the beginning, back in the days where there were no defense clothes, no CC weapon/clothes ornaments, no leech parties. Only cof and voh vagabond clothes with 3 pockets each to use for relics. If they managed to walk this even harder path than it is today, then you certainly can walk the vagabond path as it is today as well.

Lesson Three
Lesson three, although you are a Vagabond you are not alone. If you ever need help, do not be afraid to approach another member or myself. We are always here to help each other.
Some of us play the vagabond role longer than others, yet every single Vagabond has his own, good advice, and Vagabonds are known to like to help other Vagabonds. You need help to get an epithet? Ask other Vagabonds for help, and they will be glad to help you, if it is within their power and they're able to. You want to learn more about the vagabond role and don't know where to search? Ask other Vagabonds, and they will be glad to lead you to the place where you can find most answers to your questions. But don't be affraid of asking - You won't lose anything.
This is only an advice, and we only want you to know that most Vagabonds like to help others of our kind. If you refuse to ask other Vagabonds for help, then that's up to you, and you certainly won't be removed from the Vagabond Army guild only for doing so.

Lesson Four
Lesson four, never kill another warrior just to prove who is more skilled. Defend yourself, but do not attack others without reason.
You may PvP against other players, if they want so. Even if we are Vagabonds, many of us like to do karma trades in Bloody Plain. But we do not want our members to kill innocent players without reason. The Vagabond Army is not a PvP guild, and we want to stay out of any wars, battles and arguments with others.
Of course, if somebody attacks you, you may defend yourself. However, you should try to avoid to get attacked by others, for example with the Anti-PK buff from the Hermit NPC when you want to grind in The Cave of The Conqueror. If you choose not to use the Anti-PK buff, expect to be killed regularly by other players. In this case, do not expect any PvP help from the Vagabond Army.
Nevertheless we will assist you however we can if somebody harms you without real reason, for example if others bother you with anti-vagabond behaviour. We let other people play this game as they wish, and we expect others to do the same with us.
However; If we get evidence like screenshots or videos from another Band/League, showing how you randomly kill others without reason, then you will have to expect consequences.

Lesson Five
Lesson five, you're entitled to what is yours. Never steal from another warrior, not even his kill. Nonetheless you're free to steal a kill from others if they stole kills from you first, for several times.
As said above, you're entitled to what is yours. Never steal from others, no matter if they are friends or anti-vagabond players. This does apply to everything - Items, kills, anything possible. If there's an item on the ground you want, a drop from another player, and the player does not seem to want it, feel free to take it. The drops have enough time to be taken by the players who killed the mobs and/or the boss. However, if a player asks you to give him his drop back, even if he missed the opportunity to take it up in time, our advice is to stay loyal to yourself and to just give it to him.
If you are, for example, camping since hours for a boss and nobody was there before you, then, in our opinion, the kill belongs to you. You may try to get the kill in this case, no matter if another Band or League threats you and/or the whole Vagabond Army. However, if another player was already camping for a boss before you or is attacking the boss already you wanted to kill, leave him alone and do not try to steal his kill.
If a player stole your kill already for several times, then you're free to do the same to him. You may wonder what "several times" means - I think, giving a player at least three chances to not steal your kill is enough to make it clear. If this player's behaviour does not change and he still steals your kills, you are free to fight for what belongs to you.
However; If there's evidence from another Band/League, like screenshots or videos, showing that you shown up on a boss after them and/or you stole their kill without solid reason, then you will have to expect consequenses.

Ally with the Vagabond Army
The Vagabond Army would like to ally with any neutral Band and/or League - As long as your Band and/or League is truly neutral and your troubles won't become our troubles.
We, the Vagabond Army, will assist our allies, as long as it's nothing against others and as long as it is within our power.
If any Hero Band or Hero League wishes to become our ally, please contact one of our Masters.
